Smart42U is a team of local IT-experts who wanted to build something better. We wanted to make data center services affordable and convenient for all businesses. Our data center offers the reliability and standards you’d expect from major players, but with the flexibility and personalized service that only a small, dedicated team can provide. About our Data Center
Our facility is built ground-up for secure colocation. It has redundancy for electricity, communications, and climate systems. We’re pursuing ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications, as well as aiming for TIER-3 compliance.
Security
Our data center is enclosed within a secure, gated community and monitored by video surveillance from inside and outside. We log all entries and exits.
Communications
Primary data center connection is 2x100Gbit/s DDoS-protected link from Elisa. Backup link is 10Gbit/s backup from Tele2. We can also provide Telia fiber link or wireless, radio, satellite connections (cell tower within 100m range).
Cabinets
Server cabinets are Rittal 47U (model nr 5513110), measuring 600x2200x1000mm and configured to a depth of 800mm. Load capacity is 1.8t/m². Each cabinet has 2x incoming fiber optic cables.
Optimal Climate
The focus is not only to keep your servers running, but to keep them running at best health and speed. We use precision air conditioning systems (Stulz) and a strategic layout that separates warm and cool air to maintain optimal conditions.
Uninterrupted Power
Our private electric substation is equipped with dual feeds for added reliability. Should any power issue arise, our diesel generator is ready to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
Monitoring
Rest assured, we also have 24/7 monitoring of critical server room functions to keep things running smoothly. Our whole core team is fully invested – this isn’t just a business for us, it’s our way of life.

The best part? You don’t even have to worry about any technical details! With our Remote Smart Hands service, we take care of all the nuts and bolts for you. Think of it as having your own IT department on standby, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. It’s not just peace of mind—it’s Smart Colocation!
